Days go by and things happen that make one think. Little things that mean nothing - a puppy wandering on the sidewalk all alone, a hole in a fence, a cheerful person in a bank queue or a missed call from a "no number" and no voice message. As completely trivial and meaningless as these things may be, they pierce the banality of our lives everday and steer our thoughts into undiscovered territory. What was that puppy doing alone on the sidewalk? Did it belong to someone - a misplaced birthday gift? Where is its home? Is it happier now or is it frantically searching for familiarity? A minute later...BANG...you suddenly remember that you should have stopped at the ATM to draw money...u-turn. The puppy is forgotten, but even if just for two minutes, that puppy profoundly became a part of your life - it guided your thoughts. This blog will grow as the weeks dissolve into months and in it I hope to capture and give a voice to those moments when insignificant sightings or events allow temporary escape from reality.
